1. Age Requirement: Participants must be 55 years or older as of the event date.
2. Participation in All Categories: Contestants must participate in all three categories—Talent, Speech, and Ballgown.
3. Performance Duration: Talent presentations must be 5 minutes or less.
4. Speech Length: Speeches should be 2–3 minutes in length.
5. Attire: Contestants are responsible for providing their own ballgown attire.
6. Judging: The Top 10 candidates will be selected based on creativity, presentation, and personality. A panel of judges, including Colonial Vista residents, will select the top 3 winners. The winners will be crowned as a Queen and two Princesses by the current 2025 Apple Blossom Royalty Court and will all ride on Colonial Vista’s float during the Apple Blossom Grand Parade. The Queen will also receive an additional grand prize (to be announced soon!).
7. Parade Participation: The top 3 winners must be available to ride on Colonial Vista’s float during the Apple Blossom Grand Parade.
8. Consent: Participants grant Colonial Vista permission to use event photos and videos for promotional purposes.
